STUDIES
Athina Oikonomakou was born and raised in Skala, Laconia. At the age of 18 she moved to Athens to study at the Agricultural University, but very quickly decided that it was not what she wanted to do in her life.
Thus, in 2005 she moved to the "Central Stage" of Mimi Dennisi and began her studies in the field of acting. Along with her graduation, in 2007, came her TV debut in the ANT1 series "Deligiannion Parthenagogion".
ACTRESS
TV commercials and participation in Greek television series brought her to 2009 where she won her first starring role, which made her famous throughout Greece. "Xenia" in "I zoi tis allis" was the role that established her after the unprecedented success of the series led to three seasons of episodes, ending in early 2012.

In 2013, Athina Oikonomakou met Filippos Michopoulos, who was to be the relationship of her life. The couple got married in 2017, as Athina Oikonomakou was already pregnant with their first child. Maximos Michopoulos was born in March 2018. In January 2021 Athina Oikonomakou announced her second pregnancy, and delivered her baby girl Sienna in June 2021.
